Tebow Trounced

At the Gilette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass, Tim Tebow’s Denver Broncos were shredded by the 3-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots 45-10.

This football game was never close as the Patriots, led by quarterback and former NFL MVP Tom Brady, took it to Denver in all three phases of the game, offense, defense and special teams.  Tom Brady threw 6 TD Passes tying an NFL Playoff record, and actually had a chance to break the record until coach Bill Belichick decided to simply run out the clock on the game and the Bronco’s season.

Rob Gronkowski, or “the Gronker” as he is known to many Patriots fans, had 3 TD Catches, 2 went to another Tight End Aaron Hernandez and the final TD Pass was caught by Deion Branch who was the MVP of Super Bowl 39.

At one point in the game, Tom Brady had six TD Passes compared to just 3 completed passes for Tim Tebow, definitely a tough pill to swallow for Denver but also a valuable learning experience for their young quarterback.

The Patriots now move on to host the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday for the AFC Championship with the winner of that game advancing to Super Bowl 46 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.  In the NFC Championship Game, we’ll see the San Francisco 49ers host the New York Giants who knocked off the Defending Champion Green Bay Packers.
